Default Don't sit with me in a car for 6 hours unless...

you're prepared to listen to me talk about tomatoes

I had a 3 hour drive each way with a co worker today for a meeting. My friend is from upstate NY and I told her all about my little baby tomatoes growing in my house and then proceeded to spend a good long time telling her all about heirlooms (poor thing). Like most people, she admitted she just thought all tomatoes were red, and had no idea what a hybrid or heirloom was. Well, that just opened the door for more conversation ...

She told me they can't grow tomatoes at her NJ house because of all the trees and she isn't at the summer house often enough to care for them. So I asked her if she got sun on her deck, which she does. I promised to totally hook her up with seedlings for containers next summer. Even some colored ones !

I'm such a nerd. I wonder if bug people are like this?
