Sugary
"F1 rose pink oval grape with pointed blossom end and 9.5% Brix."
I vaguely remember some discussion of this tomato as an All American Selection winner and something about it being used as a cross in some Brix experiments. But I never see much mention of Sugary as a favorite cherry or other favorable comments from the forum. I'm lookin' at a 2006 Stokes catalog and it has Sugary at $5.75 for a packet of 10 seeds! Has anyone got anything great to say about Sugary? Has anyone used Sugary for making crosses and have anything to report about the resulting tomato? Has anyone grown out Sugary F2 and beyond? Has anyone bought any Sugary F1 seeds at a more reasonable price than 58c apiece? PV |
