barkeater Tomatovillian™ Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: NE Kingdom, VT - Zone 3b Posts: 1,439	Yes, there is a debate to where tomatoes were first domesticated, i.e. cultivated, but from what I read there is no debate the origin in the wild is the Andes Mountains of Peru.
