Default What are these black spots on my peach and how do I get rid of it

I planted my peach tree one year ago and it just started producing fruit this year. I picked the peach when it was soft and noticed that there were black spots on one side on the top. Does anyone know what this is? Is it safe to eat? What can I do to prevent this from happening next harvest?

Any experience or information is appreciated!
