WOW! Great Tomato - Thanks Tania
This year I grew out seeds that I got from Tania for a variety that she called "Bulgarian Old Sort - No Name". The "no-name" fascinated me and I just had to see what it was. Well, I'm ready to give it a few names, like "Wonderful" and "Huge" and "Old Fashioned Tasty" and "Grow It Again" and "Permanent Grow List".
When each of us grow new-to-us varieties each year, we all are hoping for a totally unique find that will become part of our "Every Year List". Well, this one hit the target for me. What a find!!! Not only are they large, but they are just firm enough to allow thin slices (1/4") and cover the entire slice of sandwich bread. Tania, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!! You folks have just got to try this one. Here's a first picture. I have more pictures with the next harvest. This tomato is a red, meaty, oblate, globe, with small seed locules. WOW!!!
