Striped Sweetheart DARK

Lee was kind enough to send me the seeds to a variety he stabilized called Striped Sweetheart. Its lineage is from the Lucky Cross and Little Lucky lines.
Well one of my customers grow out my Striped Sweetheart seeds and said that it had mutated into a black variety with the same leaf form- Potato. She was kind enough to send me the seeds and sure enough it has grown true to her description.

The taste is a little different then Striped Sweetheart- much richer but not as sweet. It is so very,very juicy!

Right now I am calling it Striped Sweetheart Dark but that may change if my customer gets back to me with a name that she would like to call it.
