jenn,
that sounds like a good tasting tomato! when i read "MILD" a few posts back, i nearly leaped out of the chair and ran to the wastebasket! i will never grow any tomato that is described as mild. i have tried several and they are, well, mild. i like tomatoes with strong flavor that are sweet. all the tomatoes i rank as tops for flavor fit that description. even with this thread, there is little comment on jeff davis. realizing the near infinate variables in why tomato x tastes great this year and so so next year in the same garden or in my garden vs someone's in the midwest, anyone out there that grew jeff davis want to say what they thought of the flavor? tom |
