While I most definitely appreciate the compliments, Tatiana's TOMATObase is the best web site for variety information, availability and reference photos, hands down.

I've often thought about compiling a database here, but there's really no need at this time. It would just be a duplication of effort, because we already have a great one that is easily searchable, ad-free and free to use: http://t.tatianastomatobase.com:88/wiki/Main_Page

It's apples to oranges when it comes to any comparisons. Each site serves a different purpose, but shares a common denominator - helping folks to grow their own tomatoes. I'm proud to able to call Tatiana my good friend and I would encourage everyone to help contribute information to her TOMATObase.

One last word of farewell, Dear Master and Mistress.

Whenever you visit my grave,

say to yourselves with regret

but also with happiness in your hearts

at the remembrance of my long happy life with you:

"Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved."

No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you,

and not all the power of death

can keep my spirit

from wagging a grateful tail.
