2013 Grow List for ANOTHER Central Valley, CA location
Hi,
Sort of following up on Naysen's Central Valley, CA grow list, here's mine - still in the Central valley but a hundred miles or so south of Naysen. The following have been hardening off or getting the cold treatments under lights and with a small fan for about 12 hours a day in our unheated but insulated garage with temps ranging from about 55 to 70. Most have been in the garage since Jan 7th. Reds Santa Clara Canner Wes (Oxheart) Opalka (paste) Brandywine OTV Katana Grandeur Pinks Momotaro Odoriko Goose Creek (from Geckler's - it's pink) Mexico Blacks Noir de Crimee Black Krim (to compare) Indian Stripe Carbon Gary'O Sena Bi-Color/Orange KBX Lucky Cross The follow are newly started varieties: Red Dona F1 (also have one in the graft healing chamber) Prue Pink Wolford Wonder (oxheart) Dr Lyle Purple Dog Creek Black Vorlon Amazon Chocolate Bi-Color Hillbilly That's about 25 total. I'll have a control of each one plus (hopefully) one or more grafts of each on katana, grandeur, momotaro, or ping-tung long eggplant. I've got about 85 linear feet of EMT conduit structure similar to the one Marla posted from which I'll string the plants. I expect to have about 60-70 plants trimmed to one or two vines when I'm done. We'll see....... Anne |
