Default Mojo resurfaces!

No, I was not hiding in a bunker. After the cancellation of last year's SETTFest, I got bummed and then I got busy. My family moved (Clodine >>> Missouri City) and I was busy with all manner of construction, logistics, etc. And then the school year started and this and that and, of course, the other. So I missed a lot of things.

I moved, and that meant building new beds at the new place. I bit the bullet and built raised beds out of 2x10s and angle braces and strong ties and mending plates. Then I ordered the expensive top soil because certain master 'mater gurus harangued me until I did (Roy and Shelly). Even with a dump cart, 10CY takes a while to spread (and I think they gave me closer to 12...) I now have four 32' x 3.2' beds surrounded by fruit trees which I spaced along the perimeter.

But is it worth it? See proud young daughter with her first plantings! And they're ...ATKINSON!!! I just about fell over the other day at Lowe's when I saw that Bonnie's has started distributing Atkinson, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, since my seed hook-up through the Horticulture Club has gone by the wayside (alas). I'll wait another week and put some more.
