The game is afoot! plowing and planting

I cleaned up about 2/3 of the garden by burning some brush (burning is the best way to deal with left over tomato debris), removing t-posts and wires from bean trellises, cleaning up trays and such, then plowing. I got an area about 150 X 120 ready to plant. The first row of potatoes is in the ground. I have French Fingerling, Azul Toro, Chellan, and 34 hills of mixed varieties. I hope to plant 3 more rows of potatoes tomorrow. This will include 2 rows of potato plants grown from seed. I will also put in some cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and some late peas. Late peas you say? Well, in this area, peas are planted the end of January. So this will be some "late" peas for this area. I am debating putting in a couple of rows of tomatoes just on the possibility they will make it. We are frost free in a month. DarJones
