Naysen,
The crown is the area of stem just above soil line. Unless she specifies otherwise, I would send a complete root with a short (6" or so) main stem attached. Probably shake the dirt off the roots but don't wash them (again, you might ask the specifics). Steve Edit to Add: my sister is a faster typer... |
