I did too. Well here are the offspring of the Cherokee Purple Female. They are quite similar but these absolutely started to ripen when my actual Pineapple did and the others of the Pineapple Female began ripening when the actual Cherokee Purple did.

You can see that these held a bit of green even though there were quite ripe. But it's ben a real strange year for ripening. Almost all of my 50 or so tomatoes of various varieties were at least 2 weeks behind in ripening. Everybody here in my area is experiencing the same thing.

Taste was about the same as the Pineapple female. Quite fruity. Not at all like Cherokee Purple.
