Default gargantuan grass hoppers

I just had these vicious hoppers eat a whole bed of collards. They are thick here in Iowa right now.... thousands of them.
I don't like to use '7' but its either that or let them have it all.

I think next fall I will build a screened bed cover to keep them at bay anybody else dealing with them?

My cauliflower leaves are looking like swiss cheese. I do dust them before they start heading up.
