Exactly what I was thinking. Creister, so sorry you lost some. Everything you did would have most likely saved them all if they were in the ground. I use grow bags for all the hot peppers, dwarf tomatoes, and a few other tomatoes I want to try but don't have room for in the beds. I learned the hard way to never put these out until the first week of June as we can get hit with a cold snap anytime during May. All the in ground plants go out in mid-May as I know they will be safe with some row cover if and when the temps dip.
