Soooo this weeks dilemma is: I think my two oldest plants (the CP and YP) are seriously rootbound. I sprinkled some fertilizer on top of them last week and realized today it hadn't sunk in at all, upon further investigation I realized there's only like, 1/2" of soil on top, then its a dense clump of roots. The Yellow Pear's bottom leaves are yellowing but it still has tons of blossoms (sorry for the huge pics)
Here is the CP that was bitten by some unidentified bug: and the big boy: I don't really have the time or means to repot these so I'm just going to ride it out. Are they doomed?!? The Anaheim is overflowing with peppers but none are getting very big. Should I pick some?! I think I got the aphid problem under control, doused everything with Safer spray last week and I have yet to find any more. Now I'm afraid all of my other plants are going to get rootbound soon, ahhhh! |
