My second Tasting - KBX v. TYW v. Sweet Ozark Orange
Here are a couple pics. KBX is on the left in the first one, on top when cut up. Tom's Yellow Wonder is the lightest of the three.
As you can see, KBX is much meatier than the others. Sweet Ozark Orange has the brightest Orange I have ever seen on a tomato. VERY bright! Tom's Yellow Wonder had such a citrus-like flavor it was very distinct! 2 adults, 3 children in a blind taste test.. Adults were the same.. KBX followed by TYW, the SOO. It has always been a fav of ours! In my top three of all time so it's hard to beat. TYY goes well with a light White Wine!! Very impressed with SOO. Should produce a good bit over time! Will grow again. Children were also the same. SOO, KBX then TYW! Love to have fun with new varieties! |
