Dr. Wyche's Yellow

http://i.imgur.com/zaxUUHS.jpg The blush on the end gets deeper. This is just before I ate the larger one: http://i.imgur.com/QqOyAaY.jpg Sliced: http://i.imgur.com/GEMW1P2.jpg This is a great variety to try if you like yellow tomatoes. I wish I had a KBX and a Yellow Brandywine next to it to compare. Flavor of Dr Wyche's is mild, but it's not altogether flavorless. It's meaty with not a lot of seeds. I can detect a little bit of acid in it. I think personally I like the knockout sweetness of the Yellow Brandywine better, but that's just me. |
