Greetings to Dr. Carolyn Male
Carolyn,
I have been a kind of stranger to Tomatoville, thanks for reading this. I check in and read threads and usually find an answer to my questions without posting...... I have been a follower of yours for years and have learned so much about open pollinated tomatoes since first finding you on Garden Web in the middle 2000's... I am so happy to find you doing well and still loving life and your passions.... The Prue seeds you sent a man named Gary here in the Kansas City area, around '05, I saved and since have acclimated to our garden and are my wife's favorite tomato. The NAR seeds you sent me produced the largest tomato I have ever grown. 2 1/4lbs..........As learned from you,....taste has become my priority, I am still amazed at the taste, size and plant vigor and health when following your kind and extensive knowledge........You are mine and thousands of others mentor....Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Your teaching, kind Spirit and knowledge will live on in all of us and especially our hearts. One of this yrs. Prue has attained an enormous size and I will be weighing it soon, a double, seemed two have fused together, or do I have a record Prue..LOL.....is this something you are aware of in the variety? I know it happens, just not sure how,............ Tom.......................................... |
