So far, this season I've had Black Pear, Black Plum and Black from Tula - plus one nameless black supermarket experiment. All of them have been excellent in taste, but I honestly can't tell much difference. If any, the Black Plum is a bit more 'dry' and the taste comes across more intense that way, a bit smoky and earthy.
Black from Tula and Black Pear are not much different from the Black Krims I ate last summer. Perhaps if I grew them in the same container, side by side, I might be able to tell the nuances apart. For now, I am happy to confess I am a fan for life!
