I was selecting for the best performance in the hoop house. Pretty much was also always selecting high quality end of season fruit. (IMO, black heart is a great, picked green storage tomato.).

The fruits. I noticed no taste difference, I perceive the pl fruits to taste better, but that is likely I finally learned to not let black tomatoes get overripe!!! Lol

Productivity, more a function of growing condition. Big funky flowers often times.

Then heart shape was never that strong in this tomato IMO. But the texture is classic heart. Very meaty with small gel/seed cavities.

2010 got original seeds from tomatofest. I did not grow in 2014.
