Some but not all beans they sell in the store to eat are open pollinated or heirloom.

So the same bean you get from the bag you are supposed to cook for 2 dollars is the same bean seeds you would pay much more for.
Cranberry/roman beans are one of these.
All I wanted was the vines to grow and they did, I also have tons of blooms and baby beans started.
