Default Scarlet Runner Beans

Germinating Scarlet Runner Beans Indoors? Anyone done this and do they transplant ok?

I have a window type space that I would like to get what you think would be best to grow in front of it to about 8ft high. For an example: you have a glass/window space of about 20 to 30 feet and during the summer months grow Scarlet Runner Beans which the leaves would create a wall of leaves that would shade the window/glass space and a food source and then in Autum the 8ft trellis cord can be cut down so that the sun shines in through the window/glass space for the winter. Any other vegs for growing that would create the shade wall?

Thanks
John
