Fact is,it isn't that well known, yes, here at Tville with several older threads if you did a search and some from idig several years ago transferred here b/c that's where Travis was posting at the time and the progress made was recorded there in many threads, and as I just said, those threads transferred here since many of us were posting at both sites at the time...

But go to Tania's and you won't find it listed,go to some other seed vendors and you won 't find it listed either, at least of the ones I know. I did not do a complete search.

Not listed in my 2016 SSE YEarbook, Daniel's PL is,one of the parents, but not Daniel Burson, and there are many owners of seed companies who are SSEmembers and that's where they get many of their seeds from.

Travis sent me seeds for my experiemental section for my seed offer, which means he didn't know if it was yet stable and didn't even yet have a name

Scroll down to the Experimental section, the second listing down.

Yes,I am excited about it and knew I would like it based on the two varieties that were parents.

There are several other varieties that have been sent to me by others, including Travis, and they are excellent in the case of Travis, since he doesn't send out unstable varieties.

One of my missions is to get seeds for many that are not well know into the hands of several seed vendors such as Tania, already sent some to Glenn at Sandhill, forgot to send t to Linda at TGS,forgot to touch base with Jeff Casey in Canada, etc.

And I will continue trying to place seeds of not well known varieteis where they will be available to the public.

Right now I can tell you that I have a group e-mail set up with a spread sheet,I didn't do it,and listings of all the new ones that I had seeds for, and 7 seed producers since I had so many, seed production will be done this summer for, well, there are 47 listed, but one person is kind of doing it alone and he has 10 more.

And 3 of those seed producers are also listed SSE members so they can get many out there as well. My choice, I stopped being a listed SSE member last year.

I will be listing Daniel Burson and several more that Travis sent to me as well as many other new varieties where folks sent them to me already processed, and that sometime in late summer, early Fall intheTrade subforum alhough I do not trade seeds with the exception if someone sends me seeds for a family heirloom not yet distributed I let the person chose several others from my listings.

Seaeagle, anything you can do to foster the growth of varieties not well know would be very much appreciated.

MissS was offering seeds for DB,as I'm sure you know, but there won't be any feedback on those until later this year.

If I were to fetch the Fall 2012 Performance thread you would also see how many absoultely loved Daniel Burson which did turn out to be stable.

Carolyn, who apologizes for such a long thread but this is not the first time that you have prejudged,IMO,some situations and some people ,so I tried very hard to clarify those issues that I could in order to address your initial post. And I hope it helped.
