Default 20 May 2016 Planting Cucumbers Outdoors

Thirteen cucumber plants were placed along a trellis in the outdoor garden. There are two types National Pickling and Cross Country. Feeling is planting two varieties increases production. The plants will be trained to climb the trellis, which facilitates picking. The growth is 21 days from planting the seeds in the pots in the greenhouse. This gives the plants a head start on the season. When planting I take much care in not disturbing the roots.
