bonnie plants
hi i am new to this forum and was wondering if i can get some help. i live in south florida and shop at the big box stores sometimes to get tomato plants although i like to start from seeds. in the big box stores they use bonnie plants as there supplier. there tomato plants look so perfect when they just arrive. short stocky plants with lots of lateral branches and very small space between the nodes. very tight and healthy plants. how do they do that? i am not talking about patio or husky red all there plants look great. i cannot figure out the node spacing. any help will be greatly appreciated. my favorite tasting toms are cherokee purple. i am trying to learn hi brix gardening for better flavor and nutrients. i grow hydroponic and soil.
