The Winner 2016.. PPO!
After all delays and cold days, my first fruit is finally turning color: Pearly Pink Oramge has been loaded with fruit for weeks and weeks, and my frustration has turned into anticipation, as I can now watch the largest one turning into deep orange and towards pink.
The plant itself is vigorous, but apparently, looks like it has given all its energy foir fruit production. Most likely, it will not survive after July (when the fruits have been picked).. Even with nitrigen feeding, I doubt the leaves will turn lush green again.. But I would love to see that! My fault of course, for not giving it a larger container. But - now I know better. It definitely is a workhorse, and hapy to bloom. Now if only my other varieties were as early bloomers... ! |
