Default hydroponic Tomatoes

anyone on here growing tomatoes hydroponically or not in soil?? curious as I am not a fan of indoor soil as it seems every time I use it indoors there are insect larva that are in the soil that hatch. I know there are sterilized soils you can buy or bake your soil but that's just to much hassle which is why I grow using coco coir. In the words of a youtube idol "above all things be good to each other, be good to each other".
