Our rows are a little closer now, but not much. We have found wide rows are invaluable for ease of cultivation and ease of picking. These are about 8 feet apart. We plant a little closer now (maybe 6.5' apart).

If the rows are any closer it becomes harder to pick later in the season, and we have found the worst thing is to have harvesters feeling oppressed by a slog through overgrown rows.
