Molehill soil
I am thinking to use some molehill soil in my container gardening experiment. Just something to have fun with some of my extra plants after I fill all available garden space.
I tried to fill one bucket and germinate some extra seed I had. Problem is after watering surface became real hard for seedlings to breakthrough. That didn't stopped some weed however. Did anyone tried to use molehill soil for container soil? Is it possible? Maybe with addition of some perlite or compost? If I put grass clips as mulch on top would that prevent surface to become concrete like? What do you think?
