Default Anyone Growing Sumter Pickling Cukes?

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and new to gardening. I've got two Sumter pickling cucumbers in the ground right now. Or, I should say, 1 & 1/2, as I broke one of the youngsters a couple of days after planting her, and while she's growing back, she's only half of her sister.

I also started out WAY overwatering them, having read that they like a lot of water. But maybe that's only when they start bearing fruit?

Any advice on growing these little ones? I'm hoping to get a whole bunch to come in at once so I can pickle them.

Any advice, experience, suggestions, etc., are much appreciated.
