I don't like wasting water so I need to be able to have it close enough to me to turn the water off in front of the Hozon. So, using a 15' hose like my husband suggested is a great solution for me. I could have my bucket right there with me and watch my fluid levels at the same time.

One thing you can do is install a ball check valve inline with the pick up tube.
This would allow you to turn the water on and off at you hose end not the faucet.
This ball check would stop water from back flowing into the fertilizer container when you shut the water off down stream from the injector.
Instead of a bucket go buy a gallon of wine.
Drink the wine and use the nice glass gallon jug to hold your fertilizer mix.
This way you can see it empty.
All of this stuff would be at the faucet.
