Last Frost date

I am an eternal optimist.

I have researched the last frost dates for the last 56 years. Out of those years we have past 17 of them. Last year it was March 4. The official frost date is the first week in April.... I have had plants out for a few weeks in containers. The record last frost date was April 21.

Does anyones else in zone 8 have plants out? I have said this more then once to my husband... if a huge frost comes its ok more plants in the greenhouse if a huge frost does not come we hit the tomato lottery!! It looks safe for the next 15 days. I watch the weather more then my Grandma did!-Rena
