Default Potato pests (Rabbits)

I am planning on adding a new 4X8 raised bed this year for potatoes. I am wondering if anyone has experienced much in the way of damage from Rabbits. They are abundant in and around my yard and are giving me quite the education on rabbit resistant flowers. I don't wish to fence in this new bed if I can avoid it. It will make digging the potatoes a chore later on with the fencing in the way. I plan on having the beds made of 10" high lumber. Any insights on what I can expect from my friendly neighborhood rabbits
