Default Mystery Wild Flower

This little unknown plant appeared today in abundance. It is in a sparse section of the the property of a lake neighbor. The soil is sandy and poor in this area. It resides in a sunny area, but we haven't had much of that this year. There are about 5 drifts of this plant in a small area, none anywhere else.

I have it caged but that will be short lived. He wants to mow.

I thought it might be an anemone. The dandelions are for reference only!
