Default Cucumber support: Single line, or mesh?

This is my first year growing cucumbers (Eureka Hybrid), and have them in a bit of an odd spot in my raised bed. I'm trying to figure out the best support. The easiest would be to hang a line for each plant from some overhead support that is already there (approx 5 ft above soil level), but I don't know if they will climb a single line? or do i need more of a mesh grid type support.

It is seven plants, in two rows of 4, with one not having germinated.

Thanks!
