Default husky red cherry saving seeds

I was wondering if it is worth saving seeds from the husky red cherry specimens that are bigger than usual,
or is it a waste of time.
Originally it was said they were a patio determinate type.Mine acted semi determinate last year.
This year bought plants were listed as indeterminate.
