Finally picked the first 3 ripe fruit from my Taiga plants. They took a long time (it seemed to me) to mature, but then started blushing almost at the same time - even though one of the plants didn't set until much later than the other one. Maybe a weather thing? In any case, so far the two I've eaten have been very good, meaty and almost fruity. They haven't set a ton of fruit so far, but I also got a pretty late start, so we'll see how we do here in the summer home stretch. I will say that they have been consistently healthy so far and for whatever reason the aphids mostly avoided them.

I sliced one up along with a cucumber and some salad dressing for an afternoon snack.
