Hi all! This is also my intro post; I am in southeastern Nebraska and have been growing tomatoes for about 30 years. In recent years I also started producing tomato starts of unusual varieties for friends, and finally started selling them since growing 200+ starts a year is a lot of work!
I made a big error last year since I did not realize that Peters Seed and Research had disbanded. I planted the last of my Romeo seeds (indeterminate giant Roma non-hybrid) and did not save seeds. ![]() Does anyone have some seeds saved that would be willing to trade? From Peters Seed I have Golden Treasure and Ruby Treasure, which are supposed to be long-keeping storage varieties suitable for keeping one in fresh-ish tomatoes up through February. I also have a several dozen other seed varieties; once I figure out Tomatoville I will put a list somewhere! |
