Default Skinks in the greenhouse

Are they ok to have in the greenhouse, or do I need to get them out? If so, how do I do that? I googled it but apparently I'm the only person in the universe with this problem. I can't find any info about whether they're good to have in a greenhouse: eating spiders and bugs - or bad: nibbling my seedlings or burrowing down in my pots and eating roots. They're kind of big and nerve wracking. This morning I was emptying pots, all zen and relaxed, and one jumped out of a pot of soil at me.
