Default Okra Seed in the freezer????

I usually buy my okra seed new from the local farmers COOP every year. An old man last year gave me several pounds of Clemson Spinless (my fav) seeds he told me to put them up in the freezer and they would be fine. Well ive had them in the freezer since August of last year. What are ya'lls experiences with freezing okra seed? do you think ill get germination? should I oust them to make room for more porkchops?
