Flower are turning brown

Good morning all
This is my first time growing tomatoes. They are growing great, flower are starting pop up everywhere but starting to turn brown should I be concern. I'am watering just about everyday is that to much????.Is that the reasoning why the flower turning brown.Also they are in pots not in the ground.any help will thanks.

Are you watering from above or by soaker hoses, etc.?

I'm at the other end of NYS from you on the VT border and the rains have escaped us here as well.

I do think that if it's overhard watering and you're doing it every day that might be a bit much. Specifically b'c we've just been thru a nasty high heat high humidity period and if the pollen is clumped due to high humidity you're not going to get good pollenization and the blossoms will turn brown and eventually fall off.

Depending on how you're doing your watering, I wouldn't do it every day. A good soaking and then letting the soil dry out for a few days I think is a better way to go.

How big are the pots?

Thanks for reply to my question yes I'am using the hose and not a soaker and the size of my pots is a 5 gallon bucket pickle from work.Somewhere in here i read that to use domolite will that save it.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say that adding dolomite will save "it". And I'm not sure what "it" is.

The Ca++ of dolomite can be helpful when growing in pots but that's related to BER, or Blossom End Rot of fruits, but you've been sharing with us that the blossoms are turning brown which is quite another issue.

I still think that high heat and high humidity is the reason for the blossoms not setting fruit and turning brown.

Hey carolyn thanks again i'am going to take a picture of it and post it you let know what you think.It raining today so I'll take it on sunday when it a sunny day.Once again thank you very for your help I put so much work into them that i don't want to ruined them .[FIRST TIME GROWER] LOL
