Default What color is Persimmon?

I have a plant that is to be Persimmon. It is putting out big boat-shaped beefsteaks. I picked one yesterday, 15.5 oz. It is the color of a banana, yellow. Is it ripe or should it be golden colored like Sungold?

The photo shows the color and shape I am getting; size average is 6-8 oz; the largest I have gotten is 10 oz; this is my first year to grow Persimmon.

I'd describe the color as pastel orange, being an orange flesh combined with clear skin.

This picture is accurate:
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/232853/

I have had them a little paler than that on the outside
in a rainy year, more deep orange on the outside in a hot
year.

More yellow than a real persimmon. Slightly more gold than my other yellows. Large fruit (For me). oblate, lightly ribbed.

The first picture has persimmon in the rear by the bananas (17+ oz), and another by the cukes (14 oz). Second picture is sliced. Ignore the bad section!

Twice I have had these go over 2lbs, so they can get enormous.

The strange thing is that when I do an Ask.com search for images of a Persimmon tomato it looks like there are 2 different ones out there. There are pictures of beefsteak types and some that look globe -shaped.
