Very interesting indeed - Little Lucky (stabilized from the same original cross) has shown a heart shaped selection, but this is the first from Lucky Cross! Will be watching this with interest - for the possibility of a great tasting potato leaf bicolor large fruited heart!

You just answered a question I had been pondering..why so many of my tomatoes looked like that?? I thought it could be temps. I planted out March 1 and last frost date is in April.

I'm growing Little Lucky Heart from Manfred. The germination was great and the plant is doing well after 3 weeks in the ground even tho it seems like 2.5 weeks were rainy/cloudy.

Good point on weather/condition influence on shape. What I've seen is that if this is the case it impacts only some of the fruit. If all fruit are heart shaped, it is more likely the genes than the weather - meaning cross, mix up or mutation.

FWIW, I will say that 100% of the fruits on this plant have a heart shape to them (so far).
