Just wanted to post that Walmart has the Drawstring Sachets on clearance; the white ones were $3/dozen, off-white $2.

I ordered a bolt (I think thats what its called) online last year for around $6.00 and 2 or 3 bucks shipping. Made them in various sizes for clusters and trusses. This year I dropped the draw string, hard to untie.

Went to Wally World; didn't find the bags, but did find the roll of tulle for around $6 dollars. Guess it's time to brush up on some sewing.

What's a good size for the bags? I had a curtain mishap and I have yards of tulle? organza? Some kind of sheer fabric that you can see through. I've got 2 sewing machines. I should put one to use. I just am not sure what the dimensions should be for the bags...

Recently I read somewhere that 5"x7" was a good size. This is my first year bagging blooms, and I got 3"x4" ones at first, not knowing that they would be a really tight fit as the blooms continued to develop and set fruit! Next, I purchased the next size up, which I think is 4"x6", and they are working much better, but are still tight for some of the varieties.
