Default variegated tomato

I have sa few variegated tomato plants growing right now. They started with variegated leaves as expected. But I think if I remember it correctly, on the 5th or 6th set of leaves, the new leaves reverted to regular leaves. Until now all new leaves don't produce variegations...

is this normal for the variegated variety? and should I expect the fruits to be variegated too?

thanks

THe variety Varigata, aka Variegated does come true from seed, that's the good news, but variegation is very temperature dependent and when the temps are high it doesn't express itself and when temps get cooler the variegation reappears.

Which is why this variety seems to do better as to variegation when grown in cooler climates.

Yes, the fruits will be a bit different, but not show the cream variegation. When immature the fruits will show wedges of darker green near the stem end and then the fruits ripen up to all red. And you can sometimes see some variegation of the cream type, on the larger stems.

Thank You Carlyn for clearing this up for me. Now I'm relieved.
