Clear Pink/ Clear Early Pink/ Clear Pink Early??
Rec'd these in trade as Clear Pink. Looking on the web for info....thought they might be Clear Early Pink but had expected a medium size tomato. These are large cherry about 1-1 3/4 inches and first to ripen for me at about 45 days. Is there a cherry tomato called just Clear Pink and is Clear Early Pink a cherry tomato?? Thanks, Patty

Patty,
The variety is Clear Pink Early and is one that SSE introduced in 1995 at the same time they introduced other ones that were bred in Russia such as Cosmonaut Volkov. Fruits are small, in the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch size range and some might well call those large cherries akin to Pink Ping Pong. For me cherries are smaller than those two but I think it's just words and persoanl perceptions we're dealing with here.

Here's a pic of my Clear Pink Early:
I would say definitely bigger than a cherry and VERY productive. RIK |
