I have the best tomatoes I have ever grown, I think due to the Neudorf fertiliser I bought by chance,
I have just received a supply from Rubart in Germany www.rubart.de as I have not found a supplier in Spain. Mike

There was a Thread here about 2 years ago where Ami send me a box of Tomaten Dunger to try. It produced superior results for me, versus Tomato-tone and Fox Farms Peace of Mind.

Alas, no distributor in the U.S. carries it so here, we are out of luck.

When Ray recieved some Tomaten Dunger from Ami he found that this fertilizer worked better than the old formula Tomato Tone in SWC. Just wish we could get this fertilizer shipped to the US as my supply of old formula Tomato Tone is running out. Still trying out some others this year, however old Tomato Tone is still the best.

I am using a formulation much like this one-its a liquid, but it has complete macro and micro. Ray's son, Jim and I discussed this, and I am using it. Its called Flora Nova Grow. Its not organic. They have a bloom formulation also, but its 4-8-7 with micros, and I dont want to use that much P. I like the analysis in the Grow-my new plants are doing very good with this.

The analysis is:

Total Nitrogen (N) 7.0 %
0.9% Ammoniacal Nitrogen
6.1% Nitrate Nitrogen
Available Phosphate (P205) 4.0 %
Soluble Potash (K20) 10.0 %
Calcium (Ca) 4.0 %
Magnesium (Mg) 1.5 %
1.5% Water Soluble Magnesium (Mg)
Sulfur (S) 2.0 %
2.0% Combined Sulfur
Chelated Iron (Fe) 0.1 %
0.1% Chelated Iron

hi mdyvpc,
i used flora nova grow and bloom
it is a very good nute but it is a
pain to have to shake or stir it
when you use it.
i used two 12 " air stones in my
55 gallon reservoirs to keep it
mixed up but it was still very
messy,good luck.

Hi Michael,

Jim sent me a bucket of this from General Hydroponics:

I am blending it with Tomato-tone on a 3 parts Tomato-tone to 1 part FloraMato in making a combo fertilizer for the tomatoes and Peppers. So far, the foliage growth has been excellent. We will see on fruit productivity later in the Season.

Les

You are right, it needs to be shaken vigorously. I am not adding it to my 55gallon tank. I am using it as a soil drench, 1tsp per gallon. I talked to the tech folks at GH yesterday and they also told me that it can be used as a foliar, 1/4tsp to .4 tsp per gallon.

ray

I talked with Jim about Floramato, and he said there is a lot of salt in it, so with the salt problems we have in my water, I am not using it. I do think it's a good formulation and easy to use. Let us know how it does for you.
