I broke down
I couldn't help myself at the farmer's market this week. A farmer with a greenhouse in Eastern Washington (where the days are significantly warmer than here in Seattle) was selling beautiful tomatoes at her stall. I had been wanting to wait for my own maters to ripen before tasting the first real tomato of the season, but I just couldn't help myself.
I really should count myself lucky to live in a place where I can buy great produce like this every Saturday for a good price. However, now every time I go out and check my own plants, I feel like they are looking at me with a shameful eye. Of course, the taste of the mater sandwich this giant pink heart gave me definitely made me feel better! |
