Information from Idaho on the use of oilseed radish and mustards
as cover crops to suppress a particular kind of nematode:
http://www.uiweb.uidaho.edu/sugarbeet/nmtds/oilseed.htm

There is good detail on the requirements and results to expect from
different planting timings, etc.

There’s a lot of good radish info available on:

http://tillageradish.com/index.php

Like any seed vendor, it is all positive, and strongly slanted to his own product, but there are some research studies cited that seem to provide a fair idea of what you might expect.
I have no personal experience with forage radishes or this company.

You can also Google “forage radish” or “tillage radish” for other resources.
